Q: How far are you from the parks?
A: Each property listing will show the exact mileage from that location to Cooperstown All-Star Village, Cooperstown Dreams Park, or Cooperstown Baseball World. Generally speaking, all Oneonta locations are less than 4 miles to All-Star Village or Baseball World and 15-20 minutes from Dreams Park. The Goodyear Lake properties are approximately 15-20 minutes to All-Star Village or Baseball World, and 10-15 minutes to Dreams Park.
Q: Is there a minimum night stay required for your units?
A: From June through August, all of our units are rented according to the baseball camp schedules. The schedule is no longer a 7 night Friday - Friday schedule like previous years. All Star Village and Dreams Park are now running on a 6 night schedule. We can only allow reservations to check-in and check-out on these dates since the next group will be arriving the same day.

Q: When can we check in?
A: Check in time for all of our units is 4pm or after on your check-in day. Due to same day turnaround and enhanced cleaning protocols, early check-in requests cannot always be accommodated.
Q: Is there a specific check out time?
A: Check out time is no later than 9 am on your check-out date. No exceptions. We need all that time to get the unit prepared to ensure timely check-ins. Checking out later than the required time may result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.
Q: Are we required to provide a security deposit?
A: Yes. A security/damage deposit hold will be placed on your credit card prior to arrival. This applies to all guests, regardless of the booking channel you use to make your reservation. The amount of the security deposit varies based on location, and will be stated in your confirmation letter email, which you will receive within 24 hours of making your reservation. The security/damage deposit hold will be released 2 days after check-out providing there are no damages or misuse. In the event we discover damages, you will be contacted within 48 hours of departure to discuss.
Q: Are there any additional hidden fees or extra charges?
A: NO. When you book directly with Cooperstown Baseball Rentals, all the charges, optional insurance and taxes will be shown to you prior to completing your reservation. Since we are a private host and not a hotel/motel, we are only required to charge a 6% county bed tax, not the 14% or more that must be charged for hotel room rentals. You will save at least 8% in tax by booking your stay with us! By booking direct, you can also save a bundle in third-party service charges and cleaning fees on our same units that are charged by national booking platforms.
Q: Can I bring my pets?
A: No. To maintain the highest standards for all of our guests, we do not allow animals of any kind in our units. If you have a service animal, please contact our office directly at 607-432-0810 to discuss available options.
Q: Is there a maximum number of people allowed per unit?
A: Yes. Each one of our units is set up to comfortably accommodate a maximum number of guests. Each individual listing will provide detailed information on the number of occupants for that particular unit. Larger units (3, 4 and 5 bedroom units) can be occupied by multiple families traveling together to help minimize costs per family.
Q: Do your units have Wi-Fi?
A: Yes, all of our units have free, high speed Wi-Fi for the convenience of our guests.
Q: Is there a washer and dryer available in your units?
A: Yes, all of our units have FREE on-site laundry facilities.
Q: Are your units air conditioned?
A: Yes, all of our units are air conditioned.
Q: Is there a place to park?
A: Yes, all of our units have off street parking for your convenience.
Q: Do your units have TV?
A: Yes, all of our units have been updated to 55-inch or larger flat screen TV's in the living rooms and a 43-inch or larger TV in every bedroom. All of our TV's are smart Roku TV's that can use your accounts to stream your favorite networks or apps. Many units also have Blue Ray or DVD players.
Q: What do we need to bring?
A: All of our units are "guest ready". Just bring your suitcase, your food and your family! There is a set of linens for every bed (sheets, pillows, quilt and blanket), and a set of towels (bath towel, hand towel and washcloth) for every guest. We provide toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, dishwashing and laundry products, as well as some basic cleaning products. We provide a starter roll of paper towels. The kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, salt, pepper, cooking oil and small appliances (toaster, coffee maker that makes both a full carafe or a k-cup, blender, etc). There is a gas grill for your use and the propane is provided. There are free laundry facilities available for every unit.
